Bunk Beds and Jesus For Guatemala!

I'm headed out to serve Guatemalan families in need by building bunk beds, delivering them and sharing the light of Jesus! I know... I just returned from Cuba... and now God is saying GO, serve and share more. I've been praying about going here for awhile and finally know God is confirming it for March 2016. I'll need to raise a total of $1000 for the trip but I have great news! Thanks to Our Great God ....and... some AMAZING & GENEROUS friends who follow Him, I'm down to only needing $117! My flights are now covered and so is my room and board... NOW to get some money to build some beds!! The total includes the trip itself and the cost of materials to build bunk beds (with 2 mattresses each) for needy families whose children are currently sleeping on the ground (I'd like to raise more for additional beds if we can). Carpenter's Son International (CSI) csiguatemala.com, led by my good friends Rich and Cheryl Buhre, has been serving needy families around Panajachel for 5 years. There are several other ministries in this area and I plan to visit with them as well. I'm exploring the mission field as a next step in my faith journey and this opportunity fits perfectly.

Here are some of the latest details for this trip. I'll be building beds with some teens from South Carolina and on our first few days we'll be building 3 bunk beds and delivering to 3 needy families - can't wait!! I will also have a chance to meet with some other missions organizations in the area to explore ministry ideas that God might place on my heart. I'm praying He leads me as I seek to serve Him - will it be in foreign missions?? Please pray for wisdom, clarity and courage!
